New 300 guy saying hello

Post by yetavon »

And thanks ahead of time for answering any dumb questions I cant find answers to.
My 1st AR platform was government issued in the early 80s, Build my own 556 from PSA about 6 years ago.
I finally gave in to my long time desire for a 300 BO, another PSA build, a 8.5 pistol, with a future dream of it becoming a suppressed SBR.
I have been hand loading for pistols around 20 years.

Welcome to the forum. There is ton of information on here and some very knowledgeable guys that frequent the forum. The 300blkout is a great round and it is very fun to handload for, as there is obviously a ton of .30cal bullets out there.

Well instead of the raging infection, I have maintained it as a mental disorder....
Was ready several years back but had a tragic family issue arise....
The Mother in Law moved in, taking over my reloading room....the house ...our lives...

Thanks for the welcomes and Merry Christmas to all.

The Mrs. knows that'd mean I lived somewhere else. I don't think she'd even put up with it. She keeps saying they need to get on the list for nursing homes.

You're a better man than me. Mine would be in a hole if I could get away with it.

Merry Christmas!

HI Its me... I'M BACK!!!!!... Its hard to believe I haven't been on here except an occasional look up info...
Life has just continued to toss crap in the way... have had very little time to play with the BO...
But have taken 2 nice Does for the freezer with it...
MIL has passed away, We sold our house, Majorly downsized (kept all firearms and reloading, may be crazy but not stupid)
Bought some property and been living in a camper now almost 3 years. Remolding the old house there...Debt free is nice.
Managed to acquire a large pile of .308 bullets in several weights from an estate sale.... about a penny a round.
Have also collected a bunch of other reloading stuff.
A new addition of a 16in PSA 300AAC upper is on the way. Looking forward to not having time to play with it too...
