Muzzle loader or shotgun scopes for 300blk ?

Post by Buzduk »

Has anyone thought of using one of the many BDC reticle scopes set up for muzzle loading on a 300blk? I plan on shooting mostly sub loads so the reticle might work. What do you guys think?

Cabela's has their own brand of muzzeloader scope with a ml reticle in it that works pretty well. It is actually pretty well made for the money too. I think they were like $80. Leatherwood also makes one (jeff bridges or some name like that on it).

You and David were both telling to check out Natchez and I found the nikon Omega 1.65-5 x 32 regular $229 sale $99 has 4 drop circles in camo finish. Also have a good deal on a 2-7 x 35 burris with some drop hashes on it!

Well it looks like I can get the Nikon Omega scope and go onto Nikon Spot On and plug in any caliber and it will give me yardage for all circles ! 300blk isn't a choice but 300 Whisper® lol is. So it should work pretty well.
