I have settled on Bushnell AR Optics scopes on my 300 BO's. I use the 4.5-18 variables. They are clear, compact and track well.....with lifetime warranty. In the last 10 years I have had one where the cross hair failed. Sent it back and it was replaced with the newest model...in about 3 weeks.
My 308's get all my high dollar scopes :(

I have been more and more impressed with Bushnell
Optics. Last fall I grabbed a brand new Banner II 4-12 because if the DOA reticule. Nice scope ESPECIALLY nice for the price point!!!

Hawke scopes are sleepers, I love them for rimfire. EABCO has had sales in the past.

I have one low end Athlon, bought as an "open box" special. It's a little dark on highest power, but its FFP and cheap. It's worked fine on a 6.5CM AR to 300yds.

With my military/veteran discount shipped it was under $320.

Great scope BTW.

Before buying a sight, you must find out how long the manufacturing company has produced products. The price of famous brands is high, but all possible causes of marriage have been eliminated, and the company has earned its ""Name"" on the market. By purchasing optics from an eminent manufacturer, you can guarantee flawless and trouble-free operation of the device for many years. I proceeded from the same thought when I bought myself a new rifle on walkeroutdoors.net. A brand is not just marketing but also constant work on quality. Therefore, I trust companies operating in the market for a long time.

I STILL have not completely decided upon a optic for this rifle. Believe it or not, Its had three different scopes since making the post here. One was bought for the gun. The other two was swaped from other guns when THEY got "new" scopes.
Right now it wears a Weaver 3-12 30mm illuminated. Its nice and clear and has a etched glass reticule, but big bulky and I do not like Illuminated scopes.

Ill find a perfect optic.. maybe one day.

Inexpensive reflex RD on the 10" pistol. 4-14 vortex on the CVA and IR on the 18" carbine. All have their purpose.
