I like the look of that Magpul Bev Block. I might have to order one for myself.

Forget the shade tree methods. If you do a lot of these, the Gisselle Reaction Rod will be the best friend you ever had. The Magpul block will work but the Gisselle rod lets you spin the receiver to any position you want. I paid $85 for mine at Brownells and it's worth every penny.

Rosin bags can be bought in bowling pro shops, or as they also use it in baseball, most any sporting goods shop.
Edit: Didn't notice the dates...hope he got it done already. I like the reaction rod, but the bev block does work, and is cheaper. I guess it depends on how often you use the tools, or how much $ you wish to spend.

Zombie thread..... those reaction rods suck. Quick way to shear off your extension pin.
