I cast some from W/W powder coated with HF red. Water quenched after PC. Sized .309.
Let them age for a week.
Loaded them over 16.6gr of rx7, srm primer.
Checked them for feed and function.
Worked great.
Fired all 6 into a group you could cover with a quarter @ 25 yards from bench supported by my arms.
Now to load and chronograph.

Post follow up results, please, and try them at longer distances. If accuracy looks good at 100 yards, then maybe try faster burning powders and see how it does at higher velocities.

Re: 311410 in my AR
I have an old 4-cavity Lyman mould for that one. I've often thought how perfect it would be for 300 Blk. My trouble is I don't powder coat and I don't want my gas system gummed up with lube and/or lead.
What have you cast shooters been experiencing with fouling (either powder coated or sized&lubed) in your AR gas systems?
