At least 250, maybe 255. The bullets in my avatar lose about 15 grains with plenty of depth to expand nicely. I assume they would be quieter in flight, too, without the lube grooves. Put me down for a 311-270-RG4 PB.
Put me down for a 311-270-RG4 PB. Yes I like the sound of that and would be interested

A few people from this board have been shooting these bullets. So far accuracy has been great and reliability have been perfect. Feeds perfectly in ARs. Pure lead weighs in at 270 grains. Alloys will be slightly lighter than 270 but still heavier than ANYTHING on the market now. Wheel weights will be north of 260 grains. These are 100% stable in 8 twist, or faster, guns. Unfortunately it will not work with 10 twist guns at subsonic velocities. It will be stable in 10 twist guns if the velocity is over 1,100 fps. And it should be easy to get these to 1,500 fps and maybe more.

I am still looking for a cast bullet manufacturer to produce the bullet. I will supply the mold to the manufacturer to produce the bullet.

This is a culmination of over 10 years of working on and testing subsonic ammunition with various weapons systems.

I am also going to work on a 2.0 version that should result in a bullet that is over 280 grains that will be stable in 8 twist guns and feed reliably from ARs. That one will happen sometime this year.

Keep us posted. I like the look of these. Look forward to being able to buy some of these. If my guns like them them would want a mold also...
