Al has put out a feeler over on the castboolits site. This design should eliminate the complaints about the Lee designs, so the sooner folks commit, the sooner they will be made. I have no financial interest in this, but do want the mould.

Al is the man.
Yes, I am a Baptist, and yes I carry a gun. You might think I carry a gun because I don't trust God. Well you would be wrong. I have complete faith in my Lord. It is mankind I have no trust in

Still waiting for mine, but expecting good results.

Got mine yesterday. Looks good for the most part.
Some of the cavities had small burrs in them, nothing a little sand paper couldn't fix.

Re: NOE remake of Lyman 311414
weather allowed me do do some casting ………
but I was having problems w/ my Lyman # 61 electric furnace, getting to heat on Friday evening,
Saturday evening the bottom pour spout started to shoot left, right, front, back then stopped …..
dumped the full pot of molten lead ……. ….. drilled the hole from the bottom & then leaking,
then dumped again and cleaned valve pin & spun it w/ drill (like you were seating a valve),
then 3 drips per second, dumped it and decided to make a new valve pin (oversized)
might be 2 weeks until a new oversized one gets made
first batch Friday evening …..
everything from Friday and Saturday evening
some of the nicer ones, most that were cast will be remelted ……
lots of wrinkles ….. need to bring in the weed burning torch to get the mould up to temp & help keep it there
