NOE 311365 - 200 Grain Spire Points......AWESOME

I have been waiting a couple months for NOE to make more of this mold with the
plain base. Got my new mold a few days ago and couldn't wait to get casting this
new bullet. For the last couple months I have been shooting this bullet.....I had a
buddy make me a few hundred of them to try. His mold was the GC (gas checked)
version, but I really wanted the plain base.

Mold is labeled as NOE 311365 - 198 grain. But mine come out 200.1~200.5 grains
with 60/40 lead to linotype.

Anyway.....they aren't coated yet....but I cast just over 1K of them yesterday.

I have the same 5cav mold . Arrived two weeks ago. Didn't get the chance to cast yet(been so busy cerakoting). It looks as if NOE doesn't include the top punch anymore along with the oil and Allen wrenches. Sold separately now. Let us know what OAL works out, at least it'll give a good starting point.

OAL should be the same as I am running for the GC version......~2.080" if I recall.

I went on NOE last night to order another one of this same mold for my brother and
he is already out of them......I think....I couldn't even find the "PB" in the column of
molds.

Since the mold didn't come with the top punch and the profile is pointy, I'll be using the push through sizer assuming it's better anyways. Did you get the top punch?

I did......even though I wasn't sure what it was or how to use it.....

I figured for $5 I would buy it.....now what do I do with it?? HELP...!!!
