When I melted lead, I made weights to throw for Highland Games.

Until someone makes muffins in them. I would feel compelled to mark them.

I have searched high and low for a 1 pc muffin tin for the smaller muffins. Tried several thrifts stores with no luck. I have on that drops the bigger ones, but it is aluminum and bent badly on my the last time i used it. Plus the pucks i get out of that one are hard to melt in my Lee production pot.
Yes, I am a Baptist, and yes I carry a gun. You might think I carry a gun because I don't trust God. Well you would be wrong. I have complete faith in my Lord. It is mankind I have no trust in

I found mine in a discount store that was selling them new. The lead muffins are about 1.5" across and 1" deep.

I had some 1 1/2" & 2" angle iron floating around the shop at work and made up my own bulk lead molds. I also saw a nice one made out of black iron pipe sliced down the middle that make nice half round ingots that slide into the casting pot very easy.

Wal mart, $4 each. They drop 12 ingots that weigh 2 1/4 lbs with wheel wieghts. Get the teflon coated one and not the shiny silver ones.
