I have a great load with the noe 247 blkout. Even get them to drop off the hollow point pin. 2.0 long.
They won't cycle from the mag to the chamber without getting stuck. Front of Cavity hits and sticks into the barrel radius. The lip at the rear of the chamber. If I load the bullet 2.25 long it would probably be inside the beginning of the chamber before the rear of the brass is past the wings of the mag. It wont seat in the chamber past 2.0" long. Thought about extending the wings.

Re: Jam jam jam
What mags are you using? Those bullets are notorious for having issues with the ribs that keep the 223 in place in the mags. The ribs disturb the uncontrolled feeding from the mag to the chamber. One quick fix is to get a Pmag and file down the ribs. You can see it in a loaded mag because they don't stack just right. The feeding from the mag to the chamber is uncontrolled for a small way so if they don't release from the mag correctly you can have issues. Most mags work fine for the lighter bullets, it's the longer heavier ones that have issues. I run a Pmag with the ribs filed down some with the Noe bullet without issues.

Re: Jam jam jam
My bad. Just a feeding issue? Not a chamberings issue? Have you widened the feed ramps yet. Mine feeds in both PMAG gen3 and Lancer mags with no alterations.

First off , thanks for the replys sirs. .310
They will chamber and just bump lands.
My issue is that when a loaded round is out of mag, the bullet is not into the beginning
Of chamber. Sort of just bouncing around for a split second. Then it just slams into radius.

I've loaded my NOE 311-247 as far out as 2.130" with no issues.

Are you powder coating? If so, any idea how thick? 2.0" seems really short.Rooter pig wrote:Im sure longer would work better. 2.0" is as long as will chamber in my cmmg.

Re: Jam jam jam
Not powder coating sir. Is there a sizer that sizes just the top half of the bullet? From the step to the top of bullet? Thanks.
