PSA 12" 308 win barrel, 12" SSK MidWest forend with AFG, flaming pig can "copy" Sig arm brace, RRA NM trigger, and topped off with a Vortex Strikefire-II

PSA 18" 308 Win SS barrel, MidWest 15" SSK forend, grippod, AD recon mount, PA 4x14x44 FFP mil-dot scope. Hiperfire 24C trigger.

Thanks, the 12" is not bad with the can on, really directs the blast away from the shooter.. but it does throw a nice flame. :twisted:

lol my dad complains about my 16" 308.... i had to move the bench further away from the side of the house because of the concussion, and thats only with an A2 birdcage on there and not even a brake.

i'm waiting on Jim to finish up on the 308 STD to help tame it down some and put that noise down field more

hopefully the new 20" mega barrel wont be quite so bad :mrgreen:

Nice builds what did they run you if you don't mind? I have a friend here that shoots a 16" .308 with a brake on it that is very uncomfortable being next to or behind.

ya my buddy has an ar-10 like that too. its obnoxious. was the first ar-308 i ever fired.

Yeah, I had an A2 birdcage on the 12" and it was down right unpleasant. With the can on it directs the sound away from you.

The 12" total cost as it sits in the pic with optic,grips, arm brace and trigger $1,009.99

The 18" I think I have about $1450 in it.

That is not bad, I have been thinking about a .308 AR build or maybe a ptr 91. But I am into precision rifles so toying with that idea also.
