Is it just me? I don't see any mention of 300BLK in here! So this AR is chambered in 300 Whisper? I guess 300BLK wont work in it then! The other review I saw about this made mention of AAC but not this article.

Does this seem backwards to anyone else ? The 300 Blackout has standardized SAAMI specifications, which the Whisper does not, as far as I know. Must be missing something here, somebody share their enlightenment please.............

I totally agree, Johnnie. The only thing I can think of is that s&w paid to get the whisper chamber info before they decided to hop on board with the BLK. They ended up with a sammi blk chamber that can safely shoot whisper rounds so they market it as both.

S&W = Thompson = SSK = M&P 15 chambered in 300 Whisper! Just a guess!
