With it being a piston system, and the fact that PWS is so proprietary with their items I would say changes are not good of a standard being used, but I would check with them.

As for the industry being big headed, I agree. I don't doubt 1 minute about what your experience was with PWS and how generally shitty their approach was once they got your money. Also right now you see everyone is "out of stock" when it comes to merchandise, however I would wager that many of these vendors are simply auctioning off their inventory to the highest bidder. I know for a fact it is happening with a number of local vendors, and much more than I would have imagined. It is sad to call up and ask about an item in stock only to be lied too while staring at gunbroker watching the same vendor auction off that item each week for a 50% mark up.

We live in a free market which means it is free to be manipulated to get what you can out of it.
