anyone know if a 8.2" barrel that is a 1/7 twist can stabalize 230 gr subs shot with a SDN6 can?
wanted to load some subs for my new can but midway was all out of 220 gr bullets so i picked up the 230 gr ones to match the accurate 5744 powder recipe they publish
noveske 8.2" (1/7 twist) barrel and subs

Most definitely. Always, always, always verify without the can first though.

thanks for the heads up.....will definitely try without the can first
i was thinking the subs wouldn't cycle properly without the can though
however main thing is that the short bbl will stabilize the 230 gr subs
