The picture of the Reformation stock I saw was a Magpul SL stock. https://cdn0-thetruthaboutguns-com.cdn. ... 70x367.jpg
Well shucks. Picture will open with my Iphone but not my Windows based desktop.

For those that haven't heard yet, it looks like the wait is over...
It sounds like it has straight cut lands and grooves, therefore not rifling, therefore not a rifle. Designed for less than 100 yards, and will most likely be in 300BLK.

I don't see this lasting very long . Straight rifling is still a rifled bore . The first use of rifling was straight grooves intended as a space for black powder residue to go so as to make reloading easier and more shots between cleaning . The groves were then cut on a twist so as to increase the groove length and give more space for the fouling to go , ergo , even more shots between cleaning . Found out that the gun shot more accurate with this twisting , so it was kept . BATF dropped the ball on this ruling , you can bet that it'll change .

2 grand for a 4-5 MOA 50 yrd gun seems like a waste of money to me.
ETA
I get the concept and thumbing your nose at ATF and this product illustrates just how stupid NFA is

Only market I see for this would be gang/bangers in LA. Look for California and New Jersey to make up a rule using this as an excuse to come down on all ARs.
From my limted expertise 4 inch groups at 50 yards is not 4 moa (minute of angle). The video says it starts keyholing after 50 yards.

300 BLK will be released first and they are developing specialty ammo to stabilize the 0:0 twist.
Best of luck to them.
I'm all about innovation and am not a fan of the NFA, but I would much rather have a proper SBR than this or even a braced pistol.
The optics of the NFA work a rounds only give ammunition to the anti-gun crowd.
But that's merely my opinion and you know what they say about those...

I was being generous, giving FA the benefit of the doubt since the Franklin rep did say 4-5 MOA. whereas the interviewer said 4"-5"hardcase wrote:Agreecertifiable wrote:2 grand for a 4-5 MOA 50 yrd gun seems like a waste of money to me.

Irregardless of whether its 4"-5" or 4-5 MOA at 50 yards, its a tomato stake as far as I'm concerned
