djones: Not really hog hunting country up here in MT, but I can see there is certainly a speed/energy/ballistic advantage over the 300BO. I think for most folks, the BLK is a matter of a wide selection of bullet weights and applications. Clearly a more versatile round compared to the Ham'r and 6.8. Design wise, subsonic use has always been the hallmark of the Whisper/BLK, supers are a bonus for one to switch back and forth. All that said, many will want what the Wilson Ham'r has to offer, it's just not designed to be a subsonic heavy projo machine. For it's intended platform and and use it does offer some fun shooting. Maybe one day a Texas hog hunt can happen for me.

BTW, I meant to include my praise for both some pretty impressive action shooting and the video is entertaining as well. A lot less talk and lot more shootin'.... 8)

I know you have probably seen this or something similar, but this was the first time I had seen they caught people trying to bring them in. Between the Canadians and the Texans that own property here, it's only a matter of time.

Since Montana is closer than Texas for me, more than happy to help shoot those pesky pigs if needed. Won’t be long before other northern states start getting them.

I have been seeing and hearing that Alberta Canada, just above our fair state, has a growing pig issue. Someone has allowed escape or other possible excuse. My daughter in law's parents live in Midland, TX, might be a chance to visit and do some critter damage. Now, if Santa had only complied with my wish for some thermal site products...

not really pimping the 300 hamr. just sharing my experience with it because i happen to have been shooting one for a while now. the 300 bo certainly is a fine weapon for certain circumstances. i use a bo pistol for drive by shooting... that is when i chase hogs down and just before i plow into them, stick it out the window and hose them down. i'm too old to hold my fully loaded shotgun with one hand anymore, so a 30 round pistol is perfect.

Looks like the pig(let) population is exploding!
