Looks great Rebel, I am sure it will not disappoint in the accuracy area!

Be looking forward to the next post on how well it does.

I guess I must be getting old, I am steadfast in not expanding my reloading calibers. If not I would be
knee deep in 6mm, 6.5mm and maybe a bigbore AR. I keep busy with .300BO, .308 and .300WSM. Have a few .243's that have
not seen daylight since the kids hunted.....so at least 10 years ago! Still shoot the .223's though...

If you have little ones, enjoy your time as it passes really quick!

You hunting the next county over Reb or just taking shots across the holler to the next mountain? That 6BR ought to reach out there for you.

Great looking rifle Rebel, what range did you have in mind for it's usual envelope with you were making your design decisions? I have never used a rail with built in elevation.

6BR rules target shooting from 300 to 600 yards. I can't really explain why, but many times I have shot the same size group at 300 that I did at 100 yards. After 600 it starts losing it's legs to other cartridges like the 6mm Dasher and 6mm BRAI. A new pending 1000 yard IBS record was just shot at Hawks Ridge, right up the road from me. Mike Wilson shot a 5 shot group measuring 1.068 with 5 x's AT 1000 YARDS with a BRAI. Incredible shooting. For groundhogs, I'll try em' as far as I can see em'. For deer, the round is well above supersonic at 500 yards. I don't have that type of shooting where I hunt, 400 yards is about max in my hilly terrain. I shot some load development stuff today. I think sub 2" at 400 is well within this rifles capability. Minute of whistle pig head across a soybean field anyway.

Who is going to see the target and then wake you up to shoot?

For what it's worth, load development just about there.

Considering this a hunting scope with a rather stout duplex, I'd say not to bad. For me anyway.

I have many rifles with 20 moa rails. Who needs more down? It really lets you get the most out of your optic. For a dedicated subsonic blackout it's a must.

Looks like you should have got a faster twist, or maybe just shoot a shorter bullet. I would be pissed if I spent that kind of money on a custom and the bullets were tearing those ragged holes.
300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.
