You're right about ole Reb, God love him.
The only question I have for Reb is how do you get the mount for that sight of yours off the bathroom wall?

If I ever had time I would rig that up. It would look hilarious.

I was already heading out to Home Depot to do this when I realized all their mounts would obstruct your view. (Think about it)
So I went with a simpler approach. Quick disconnect even.
If you look closely, you can see I've even included an adjustment mechanism:
Don't worry, rebel, I'll cut you in for 20% of all future sales of the TP CQB Sight®.

This has been amazing information. Thanks for all the help. I believe I have all the raw materials lying around to make the TP CQB Sight®! Thanks again for the info. I'm leaning towards a 1-4, likely the Viper. Will let you all know what I land on!

Hmmnnnn. The Leupold suggestion really got me. More info on this rifles use. 300yds was not realistic. More like 200 and less. I may hunt field with it which have 100-200 yd shots, but also will be hog/deer hunting from a golf cart where game can pop up quick and sometimes close. That has me thinking what power I really need. Here's what I am down to:
Leupold VX-R 3x9x40
Leupold VX-R Hog 1.25-4x20
Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24
Help me decide just one more time!

Look into the Leatherwood CMR4. It is a 1-4, illuminated and lots of holdover in the reticle.

Well I settled on the Leupold VX-R Hog 1.25-4x20 with Burris PEPR mount. Can't wait! I'll be waiting by the mailbox!

Good choice on the scope. My mark AR and VXR both have the dot and are awesome. You cant't go wrong with Leupold.
I know Badfinger, I know, I am here for you guys and want no profits from the creation - in the spirit of the device, my QD mounts were all natural, elastic material that could be removed and reattached at a whim. Rubber bands

Rebel......While I like the "new" scope, you have got to use duck tape with the rubber bands. Other wise you get shake on the expensive thing!
