We all have met them. You know...the ones who think nothing of dropping $4k for a new scope, $600 for new triggers and $500 for a new BCG.
Well, that is not all of us! At least not me. I need parts that work hard, handle a beating and keeps on trucking. So, here are the parts I have that are affordable and seem solid enough. Some are or were practical for their purposes.
For an old Mossberg that I traded:
ATI Gunstock
1. Heat shield- https://www.atioutdoors.com/classic-del ... ith-sights- my old one was marine coated.
Top folding stock-https://www.atioutdoors.com/marine-top-folding-stock
2. Shell Saddle - no longer listed
3. Foregrip-https://www.atioutdoors.com/strikeforce-shotgun-forend
UTG flashlight (don't remember the toe but was about $40
For a rifle
Scope
Redfield 4-12x40- https://www.chuckhawks.com/redfield_rev ... -12x40.htm
For this optic, it is mounted on my 300 WM and it holds zero perfectly. At 100 yards I am able to have three bullet holes overlap each other.
For my AR.
ALG ACT- https://algdefense.com/alg-combat-trigger-act.html
Vortex Crossfire 2-http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/cro ... le/reticle
Tacticon BUIS - https://tacticon.com/product/flip-up-ba ... on-sights/
I have not officially tried the sights yet but they feel solid.
So, what parts do you all suggest for those who have shallow pockets?
