Holosun HS510C Reflex

Post by BadKarmaZeroSix »

Well, seems like a lot of people online were looking forward to this little guy, but gave up on it hitting market. Just ordered it, so i will see how it pans out. Most reviews look like they got "early releases" to test out, so i guess i'm gonna play guinea pig once again. Still not sure which optic to put on which SBR yet, i got 3 optics and 4 in-process toys to pick between, so i will be swapping back and forth to find best combo...might leave one with irons, or might purchase another optic later, but here is list of the possible combo pieces (any suggestions or experience welcome):
HK UMP 45
HK G36C
Sig MPX
10.5" 5.56 SBR

will be playing with the followig optics:
Holosun HS510C w/ standard qd mount
Trijicon MRO w/ Geiselle co-witness qd mount
Burris Fastfire III w/ ADM qd mount

Holosun is getting a good rep from what I have seen. Rugged and easy to operate.

Liked the looks of this one...smaller than Eotech 517s, bit larger than the RMR optics, solar w/ battery backup, long-life, and 65moa circle with dot OR single-dot option...we will see...got a good deal i think, less than $225 shipped...most sites had it listed over $300

Just installed this optical on my modified S&W MP15.
Son & I recently visited the range & was extremely impressed with this $299 optic!

Took 3 shots to zero @ 50 yards - Then moved to 100 yards & 3 more shots to zero then placed 15 shots within a 4" square. (16" barrel w/110 gr hornady).
I chose to stick with only 110 - 115 - 125gr.

Is it equal to a EOTech? No! My son runs a Model 300 on his BLK & it is a amazing optic for PD & Hunting pigs.
But the Holosun is really close behind - In Quality & Performance. (Battery life is exceptional)
For $299 - $340 it's a steal!
My Go To for HD --> -Gorilla- 115gr Controlled Chaos "Pig Punisher"
My Go To for Wild Pig (Eradication) --> -Fiocchi- 125gr SST
"Modified S&W MP15 w/16" Barrel"
