Barnes 110 TSX coal

Searching didn't satisfy my paranoia so have to ask.
AR 300blk upper.
I am confused about case overall length using these 110gr Barnes bullets. Barnes says 2.25 oal but assume that is max. and certainly would be just barely seated.
Been loading 20+yrs and never run into this, but just starting on the 300blk. Plus new to Barnes bullets.
Case length 1.350 from kaskillo
There are 2 drive bands/grooves (?), not cannelures, right?
Seating to the longest groove is 2.040"
To the back edge of that one is 2.081"
to the front of the back groove is 2.152"
And to the back of rear groove is 2.182"
Bought a box of Hornady 208 V-max subs measuring 2.178"

What length do you guys load?
My .223 55gr are 2.235 but I see no way of getting near that with these bullets.
Just want so info before continuing

That seating depth is for the 110gr Tac-tx blacktip, the run of the mill TSX will be substantially shorter, I use 2.111' for use with the AR platform.

Seating depth for use with an AR is dictated by the side ribs in the magazine as well as mag length. The best way to determine your start seating point with ANY bullet is take a spent 223/556 round and insert your 30 cal bullet point first in the brass and turn it to make a mark. That is the point that should be near the middle of the side ribs when the bullet is seated in the 300blk brass.

The TSX (no tips) are .955 inch long. Load at 2.06 to 2.11 oal. I wouldn't go longer than 2.11 or you won't have enough bullet in the case.

Thanks Randy, that's what i needed. I could see there wasn't much in the case at longer oals.

Do you get a noticeable increase in accuracy loading them that long ? I might want to go with a little more crimp if I was only putting about 0.17 inch of the base in the case. How much crimp do you use ?

That particular bullet was very difficult for me with 300-MP. That seating depth was the only one I could get a consistent 1" group at a 100 yards. I was using a LFC light to medium on them, Medium is what I ended up with or is what I have in my notes, it has been a few months.
