Tip: Create accounts at all of these sites. Set up email notifications at ones that offer notifications. Check sites multiple times daily. JUMP when an item is in stock. To get decent price per unit be prepared to buy 8-16lbs of powder and cry later about the big hit to the wallet.
I started reloading during the crunch and the vigilance in checking and jumping to buy is what has allowed me to shoot whenever I want and have reloading supplies in stock.
A trend that I have noticed is most of the time you can only get 1 or 2 pounds of powder on the retail sights and you wind up paying $60 or $70 per pound, I have been contemplating buying some powder off of Gunbroker because you only wind up paying $50 a pound. I live in the armpit of New Mexico so I have zero LGS to go to for powder so I am forced to shop online and Graf & Sons used to be my go to site but now it just is not available anywhere most of the time. The only thing stopping me form using Gunbroker is I know I am being ripped off by leaches and that is a hard pill to swallow.
wow, I guess I'm doing better than you . I've had luck on armslist (picked up lilgun and h110) LGS has these in stock currently.

They post it on their website in the lower right corner. http://gunstop.com/
I've also been lucky hitting the various "fleet farm" stores(less than 30$). Sounds like its location location location. Maybe plan your summer vacation around powder collection : )
There is a guy in the classifieds selling 8lb of lilgun $359 Check it out for a serious laugh. This forum should do like a lot of the rest
and ban these guys doing crap like that!
After over 2 entire years of almost daily searching, I have a small stash of assorted powders.
Finding this stuff requires a great deal of time and effort.
I have enough to load all my rounds of assorted calibers and loads now but it has not been an easy road at all.
Methodically, I seek about 4 local stores including Cabelas weekly.
I refuse to pay marked up prices and have even found some in local forums.
I wish you all the best of luck, this stuff is nearly impossible to find.
I have been lucky.

I've been searching for over 3 months. Guess I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and order online. I did find several boxes of 125 and 150 grain SST's.
I would bet the 4 hours of driving costs more than the hazmat and shipping for a pound of powder........
Safe bet, but why would ANYBODY buy 1# of powder???
