Here is some cut and paste data I posted in another thread a long time ago...
Obviously these loads are beyond published recommendations and should not be used, I list them here for discussion and educational purposes only!
The following is the result of several range visits, ammo was kept in range bag prior to firing to maintain constant temp, approx 70 deg F. Each case was examined and measured for case head expansion prior to continuing.

Re: 18.8gr Under Speer TNT 125??just had to8 pound jugs of H1 10
Howdy,
A LGS had 4 1lb cans and I had planned to buy 20 of them on Saturday but one of the "monkey see, monkey do" guys at work had to have a 300 BKL because I have one asked what powder I was using and without thinking I told him and he has bought up every can in the area.
Such is life. They'll have more in stock next week.
If it isn't raining this afternoon I'm headed to the range! I drive by it everyday on the way to work and back home and hopefully I'll be able to do a little shootin' today.

My thoughts exactly. Well, actually said something that's on the "banned word(s) list".TreeTopFlier wrote:Dang shirt, that's enough to make 6000 rounds worth...your gtg for a while...great score!afshirt wrote:Well about to use this advice personally because the local shop just had two 8 pound jugs of H110. Re: 18.8gr Under Speer TNT 125??
Howdy Everybody,
It's wasn't raining after work so instead of pumpin' iron I stopped by the gun range.
Today was the first time I've had my new Blackout to the range and had only shot it in my yard to check the function of my crappy 2nd rate handloads.
Here's a couple of pics of my targets, all targets were shot at 100yds.
Only shots 3,4, and 5 are part the the group. #2 was a sighting in shot. After firing shots #3, 4, and 5 I said out loud "Holy cow this thing can shoot!"
Bullet: Hornady 150gr FMJ-BT
COAL: 2.100"
Case: PMC (1.365" oal)
Primer: CCI SR
Powder: H110 15.Xgr
Bullet: Speer 125gr FBHP TNT
COAL: 2.100"
Case: LC (1.365" oal)
Primer: CCI SRP
Powder: H110 17.7gr
Bullet: Speer 125gr FBHP TNT
COAL: 2.100"
Case: LC (1.365" oal)
Primer: CCI SRP
Powder: H110 18.8gr
Bullet: Nosler 220gr BTHP-M
COAL: 2.245"
Case: PMC (1.365" oal)
Primer: CCI SRP
Powder: H110 9.0gr
The bullet on the left hit a 2x4 that was part of the target board's framework and after shooting through 1/2" plywood the bullet shot completely through 3.5" width of the pine 2x4.
Scope is a Weaver 1.5-6x32 and gun was fired from a simple pedestal handguard support and a hoodie for a buttstock support.
The rifle functioned perfectly even with my crappy handloads and all loads lock the bolt open.
Overall I am a happy camper.

Re: 18.8gr Under Speer TNT 125??
Hey, thanks for all the good info on the Speer 125gr TNT bullet. I noticed everyone is using H110. Has anyone tried Hodgen's Lil gun powder?
Re: 18.8gr Under Speer TNT 125??
Yes...18.2 gr of Lilgun under these is my "go to" load. additional specs are in my previous post on this thread.Jbremount wrote:Hey, thanks for all the good info on the Speer 125gr TNT bullet. I noticed everyone is using H110. Has anyone tried Hodgen's Lil gun powder?
Re: 18.8gr Under Speer TNT 125??
I found the Lil Gun to be not quite as accurate as the H110 at higher velocity, but still a very nice alternative like 300MP from Alliant. Others may have had better results. I've read some threads on another forum that claimed great results with 110 grain bullets.Jbremount wrote:Hey, thanks for all the good info on the Speer 125gr TNT bullet. I'll stick with the H110 for the 125 TNT.

300 mp- that stuff sucks. Yeah- nothing to see hereAR300BLK wrote:I found the Lil Gun to be not quite as accurate as the H110 at higher velocity, but still a very nice alternative like 300MP from Alliant. Looking at the Hodgen's online load data on their website, I searched for 300 blackout data for the 110 gr,125 gr and 130 gr bullet using H110 and Lil Gun powder. Their data shows that LIL gun powder gives more velocity, less pressure, and with less powder every time for "all bullets weights" used. Of course this does not take into account the accuracy or other things you can tell by shooting. Anyway, I was just wondering why some many use H110 instead of Lil gun for their 300 blackout reloads, even with other bullets.
Re: 18.8gr Under Speer TNT 125??
Yes, Lil gun is a good performer. It does reportedly have some issues in cold weather. Although pressure may be lower, it also burns VERY HOT. If you rapid fire with it, your barrel will get REALLY scorching hot. H110 has great consistency and works for a wide variety of bullet weights. It is far better(more accurate) than lil gun with 150gr pills for instance IN MY OPINION/EXPERIENCE.Jbremount wrote: Looking at the Hodgen's online load data on their website, I searched for 300 blackout data for the 110 gr,125 gr and 130 gr bullet using H110 and Lil Gun powder.
