I recently evaluated some Hornady 110 Gr VMAX (.308) against a Redding, Whidden, and Lee seating stem to see what type of variance I saw from the base to where the seating stem made contact. In all of them, the extreme spread was about .009". All the bullets came out of a single box of 100, so I don't know if this is typical.
