Hey guys, I am having a hell of a time getting A1680. What is alternative powder that will work with my AR?

I've switched to 5744 because it is so much quieter than 1680.

I'm sorry, I don't have enough experience with 1680 to make a comparison.iflylow wrote:Does it burn as clean ??

I like Vhit N110 for the 220s and 240s.

Same here. I use H110 for supers and N110 for subs, loaded in Hoser's Brass.hoser wrote:I like Vhit N110 for the 220s and 240s.

What charge weight do you use?hoser wrote:I like Vhit N110 for the 220s and 240s.
My notes have 8.3 grains of N110 listed for the 220 SMK.
I haven't tested it yet though.
