Load Data for 220 Grain, 300 BLK, Blue Bullets

Post by newman0912 »

I just bought 500 of these. They are Spire point, made for 300 Blackout and I'm going to use them for subsonic loads.
I emailed the company for load data and to my surprise, they said they don't have any. They suggested that I look for 220 grain spire point 'lead' bullet load data and use that.
I don't have a lot of reference resources. I use Hodgdon and my Speer handbook. Neither references any load data of this type.

Anyone have a resource or suggestion on where to start?
I've been powder coating my own 230 grain Spire Point cast bullets and have a good load using CFE BLK. If nothing else, I guess I'll start there.

Thanks.

If you have the internet you have lots of sources. Just do a 'net search.

OR, as you stated you could use your existing load data for the 230 grain bullet and adjust it.

I like this reference since you can filter by powder and/or bullet weight

When I did my subs I used the Speer site since I had Speer bullets. 200gr spitzer sp with 11.2gr 5744 did well. Bolt gun though, so no idea if it would cycle semi...
