H110 would prob get some higher numbers but I don't like how sensative it is so try not to use it for supers.

Plan for now is to keep the 150 Speer load as a default super, hope to find a 1500-1600fps plinker load with the cast 170s and then look at subs. I have some sub-x 190s and obviously looking at 200+ molds.

I have seen good results concerning accuracy and velocity with the FTX and H110/296 & MP300 powders. The MP won out for me. Accuracy on par with my best loads and velocity surpassing some 125g loads.
MP 300 has not failed to impress in my Bolt. In the AR its a wash with H110/296 because of pressures.

As to the 150g Speer. Is this the GD or the HotCore bullet? Cause Id be concerned if the Hot Core on game. The GD Black Out 150 is made for the caliber but the Hot Core is not and runs @ or near a 1800 Min Velocity for expansion.

Sorry for the delayed response.

I did not have success with the FTX and have shelved them for now.

The Speer 150s are the Hot-Cor, I have not been able to find any of the GDs.

I was curious about expansion as well so bound a stack of wet newspaper 18" thick and created a makeshift bullet trap behind it.

This is a recovered bullet shot at 100 yards:
