I was curious after converting 223/56.6 brass down to 300 blackout brass, loading it, and then firing it.
Would you need to reform the cases if you were to reload that brass?
I’m sorry if there’s a thread out there but, I’ve searched all over for answers and only see items for converting the brass and not once fired converted brass.
I would appreciate any information on this question!

Once converted, it is 300 BLK brass. There is no need to treat it any differently when reloading than you would treat factory brass.

Necks would be expanded from firing and the cases would have to be resized for proper neck tension. Most will prefer to full length size to ensure proper function in semi automatic rifles. I wouldn’t consider either reforming.

Youtube is your friend. There are many videos showing how.
There is a great thread here for showing which brass works best. Not all 223/556 brass works well.

If it doesn't splatter, shatter, burst, boing or explode, it's not worth shooting.
