Look for help on loading MP-311-410 mold

Post by Tayous1 »

So bought the mold a few months ago and I have been trying to get it to work in my AR pistol/rifle problem being is feeding. If I set the round at an OAL of 2.100 it will feed but the problem is that it's barely in the brass the lube ring shows.

So please tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or is it that I will need to buy a magazine that is a 300 blk magazine? I did find someone who sells followers for 300 blk https://muddy-river-customs-llc.myshopi ... 0674188440

Anything would help me out also if anyone has used these followers please tell me. Seems easier to just convert than to buy a new magazine also it's a lot cheaper to get 7 conversations at $26 vs one magazine at $16. Thanks!

Answered your problem on the other site. Different follower won't help. BCG and recoil is pulling rnds forward where they jam. You could PC or use BLL tumble lube but there is so little base band in the neck you gotta be careful. Change to a different heavier mold.

I use the Lyman (original) mold with good success. I also powder coat.

Next to the Lee 155-312-2R it is a go to bullet.

No issues using it here.
