I bought 500 rounds of what I thought was 147 grain 300 blowout. Package said 147 grain. Fired 1 round thru my ATI rifle it blew out the mag well bent the bolt follower, a piece of the cartridge stuck in barrel, the end of the cartridge stuck to the bolt. Bullet went down range. Gave some rounds to a gunsmith I know,
he pulled them apart. Powder was H110 15 grain which is right for 147 grain bullet not 110. FedArms said they're not returnable. I said this is a dangerous situation!
Is this a legal matter or do I need to dismantle all ammo to check specs?
