300Blk Encore Barrel

Post by Rick R2 »

What is the best route to obtain a 16”+ barrel for my Encore in everyone’s favorite caliber?

I’d like something a bit less recoil than my .45-70 8)

They also sell MGM, if you have the extra coin..... Haus is a good outfit.

“Out of Stock” and “Every now and then a deal comes across that is just too good to be true. This is a very limited run of Thompson Center made barrels that won't ever be made again and HausofArms has the exclusive opportunity to sell them.“

Life is cruel. looks like I’ll be saving my pennies for the MGM.

Thanks!

Ah, sorry! I saw "out of stock" but I didn't read far enough to catch "will never be made again".

EABCO makes custom barrels too, lead time is huge though.

Also try Eds contenders. Website is a jumble, but it looks like he may have some 300blk. Phone is best way to contact him I think. .

Thanks guys,

I may see if EAB can make what I want. That looks to be a cheaper route than Match Grade Machine.

I really like my Bergara barrel, shoots as good as I can. You might have to work to find one now but they are good.

I believe I waited too long to buy my Encore and I’m late for all the good stuff.

I’ll keep my eyes open for barrels at the gun shows.

I did a bunch of research on this and had planned on going for a MGM, but ended up finding a CVA scout pistol for 150 less than the barrel.
