Anyone make BUIS for .300AAC with 16” barrel

I shoot 195 -240 grain subsonic handloads in my 16 inch Blackout. The BUIS will need to be regulated for the different trajectory than seen is using a supersonic round. I cannot lower my front sight post further, and the rear sight has no elevation capability.

Subsonics are going to shoot lower than supersonics. If you have the standard front sight atop the gas block, then it sounds like your rear sight is too short. I think a lot of companies make BUIS's, some are made to work with the standard front sight. Most are adjustable.

Rail height vs. Gas block height may make a big enough difference for you

Otherwise I'd look at either replacement front pin that you can file down to shorten (and still have enough for a proper sight picture) or a replacement rear apeture w/ no hole or minimal hole that you can drill off-center and raised.

I have the same set up and found the Ultradyne C2 works.

Its all aluminum and stainless steel, American made and well done.

I started putting off set BUIS on my scoped AR 15s. they are really convenient and easy to use. for my reflex sighted ARs I prefer co-witnessing BUIS.
