Hey guys and gals. I'm currently building my first AR15 (I already own an off-the-shelf one). Here's what it's got:
-9" barrel
-pistol length gas system
-NiB bcg
-will run suppressed maybe 80% of the time?
-mostly subs
-if I'm missing any needed info let me know
I want to make this thing as quiet as possible, while balancing other requirements...so it'll most likely be a JPSCS buffer system. I understand almost everyone says go with an H2, but on JPs website it says go with a standard H if it's specifically .300blk subs. So does anyone have any real world experience with either or both? I'll probably end up ordering the 5 pack of springs too... Thanks in advance!

Re: BEST BUFFER WEIGHT?
Are you going to be using an adjustable gas block?
Re: BEST BUFFER WEIGHT?
You could get an adjustable weight buffer and if it needed changing you already have the solution in hand.
Re: BEST BUFFER WEIGHT?
Any idea what size the gas port is?
I am working on an 8" build and I am seeing ranges from 0.099 to 0.110. Mos Tek is supposed to be making my barrel this week and calling me to go over port size.
I got a standard carbine buffer to start out with but my suppressor is in jail for quite sometime still so I won't be able to do any meaningful function testing for months.
