Post by Blacklamb »

I really wanted the RMC however, I cant find one new or used. Does anyone know of a device that is similar (in size) or know anyone that is selling it, its the last part of my build.

Thanks

I used to have one in 308 so they do exist. They are loud!

Just be aware, it is LOUD. Mind-numbingly loud. I have one on my 16" midlength 5.56 lightweight rifle. When Im at the range I shoot my AMD-65, Mosin-Nagant, .308s and shotguns, noone says a word. But when the 16" with RMC comes out, people start complaining to the range officer. I once had the guy next to me roll off his chair when I started up, he must have though a grenade was going off.

The AAC non-mount single chamber brake is basically the same thing, it may even be slightly shorter and lighter since it doesnt have the spikes on it.

Would you please be more specific as to what you're looking for? The item you mentioned in the first post is both a brake and has an aggressive front. Are those important to you, or is the length the primary trait you're looking for?
