Finally...

Post by harrishmasher »

After 11 months in ATF Jail, my stamps finally arrived yesterday :P She can now join her 16" sister.

This one is the AAC Factory complete SBR. MPW 9". The can is the AAC SDN-762-6. I have already put about 300 flawless rounds of subs through it over the last 11 months at the range I bought it at. Hoping to get out this weekend to get it properly sighted in with the 300BLK EoTech and 10X40 Bushnell Elite scope. I will slap the scope on for Supers. Curious to see how the 9 inch barrel performs out at 100 and 200 yards.

My 300BLK ammo stash is very sad right now. Really need some plinking ammo. That's right, have I ever mentioned on this forum that I need some UMC 115gr ammo  I have enough to get it sighted in. I also have a nice stash of Barnes TSX, but I won't be shooting too many of those, just enough to see how it does at 100 yards.

I'm very impressed with the AAC factory rifles. Fit and finish is among the best I have seen. At least as good, if not better than my LWRCs. AAC uses the absolute best parts available to build their rfiles. Geissele Trigger, Knights Rail, Nickel Boron carrier, top notch bolt, and Magpul furniture. I can't recall ever seeing a rifle come from the factory with a Geissele Trigger. It really is an excellent trigger, mil-spec AR triggers are pretty sad. But they are very expensive. (Side Note: Spikes Battle Trigger is a really nice unit for $60, I have put them in several of my ARs). I added the sling adapter, sling and a Raptor charging handle. It has worked flawlessly from day one. Tight as a drum as well. Couldn't be happier. Makes sense to buy a rifle from the company that invented the caliber.

I see you bought it at a range that you normaly shoot at, thats great.
At least you had visitation rights.
That is a great benefit.
