Camera to catch what is happening with bolt?
My Samsung Galaxy S8 will shoot video at 240 frames per second. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to take a short video aimed at the ejection port of a 300blk gun to see what is happening. Even if I watch as slow as I can set the playback I wonder if I can see what is happening. I assume that I need a good amount of light for this to work.
I had posted about a problem I was having with it cycling viewtopic.php?f=128&t=108900 and I recently discovered what my S8 will do. I probably need a friend at the range to help with this test.

Maybe, but probably will need to have multiple rounds filmed to catch the problem.
Bolt speed will be 12-15 rounds per second and travels about 5".
You will have about 20 frames per round, or about 1 frame per 1/4" of travel.
Won't know until you try.

300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.

I’ve tried to do this same thing, but my devices are a bit older, so no useful info was gathered.
I’m interested to see your results.
