Re: Nosler 110 Varmageddons
They are very accurate out of 16" carbine. Went to the range today and tested a 10 lot @ 100 yards. I got a new P-300 scope and mount and was trying it out also. The mount turned out to be defective in that one of the QD locks kept coming unlocked. Did not realize it yet when I was shooting the...

Re: 20 grains of Lil gun or 300MP under SST 125 anyone?
This is a really great thread! I'm new to hand loading within the last year and have so far only been working with 300 WM on my Rem 700. I just finished my 300 Blackout build (Wilson Combat Recon SR upper, 14.7", 1-8"" barrel) and I've been trying to find H110W/296, LG, A4100, Ramsho...

And I thought I was the only one that liked 300-MP.

Re: Round for home defense
For HD in the 300 Blackout, I would say the Hornady 110 V-Max or the Nolser 110 Varmageddon. At 2300 + fps at 20 feet would be devastating with those two rounds. I do not think there would be a fragment large enough to go through a wall after hitting your intruder. +1 on the Shotgun and Pistol Metho...

Re: Colorful Testing
Left to right 110 Lehigh controlled chaos, 110 Sierra Varminter, 110 Varmageddon, 110 V-Max, 110 TAC-TX, 125 OTM, 208 A-Max, 125 Nosler BT, 125 SST, 125 Pro Hunter.
The Lehigh and Nosler's are the only real test loads, the rest are just for some fun trigger time.

Re: Which Hornady Lock-N-Load headspace bushing for 300BO?
Interesting, I havent had any problems adjusting my dies to bump the shoulders back .004ish. All my loads are pretty hot. Bumping the shoulders back that far is pretty dang hard on the brass. This is with using my hornady and forster dies. Probably just my gun, a CMMG. The shot brass is 1.081 so th...

Re: Which Hornady Lock-N-Load headspace bushing for 300BO?
You are welcome! If you are setting up your dies with it to match your chamber for an AR then you will probably have problems with failure to feed after your first loads with the brass. I reloaded some with the dies adjusted out to 1.077 (shot brass 1.081) and they were extremely accurate loads, the...
