Glad your okay!
And thanks for sharing because I am about to set out on the subsonic side of reloading with 1680 and I have no experience with subsonic at all, so note taken!
Look at the bright side, now you have a reason to start building a much improved new lower to replace that one.

Re: Proper OAL for Reliable Feeding with Nosler Varmageddon?
I had two failure to feeds in my last batch using the Lancer AW5 30 rnd. They were loaded at 2.060, had 20 loaded in mag and one failed around the 8th or 9th and on the last round. Both hung on the magazine not on the ramps. First failures I have had out these mags. It made me scratch my head becaus...

Re: Alliant Steel powder; Anyone using it in 300 BLK?
Yes, someone try it out and let us know. I would, but don't think I could handle another pucker factor created by testing another powder with no load data in 300 blackout.

Re: Power Pro 300 MP Load Data
Absolutely agree with the numbers as that is still a work in progress. OAL has perked my interest the most as it is very subjective due to the difference in tool's used to measure it with. Your info will be a good starting point for me to work my own load from. I do appreciate the info you have giv...

Re: Power Pro 300 MP Load Data
My last set of test loads that have been shot were as follows. 19.2 300-MP, 1.954 OAL, 1.476 comparator, Avg. 2210 ES 91 SD 33. This load was less than 1" @ 100 yards no ejector marks, just the typical flattening of the primer. I use the BR4's on these loads with Hornandy and Remington 300 blk...

Re: Power Pro 300 MP Load Data
Alien, apoligy accepted.....and thanks for clarifying everthing. I will offer an apoligy as well. Now, even though I am away from home I found some 125 sp at midsouth shooter supply.....do you think we can come up with some load data on that round before I get home? :) Really, I have them ordered a...

Re: Power Pro 300 MP Load Data
My sincere apology for my writing skills or lack of, they seem to be a total failure. My post was never meant to imply any negativity to anyone’s reloading skill or practices. I have read to many stories of experienced and novice re-loaders having kabooms with cartridges that have been around for 30...

Re: Power Pro 300 MP Load Data
I did not get that he was talking about the faster powders. What did I miss? I agree that sub/super results do not necessarily correlate either, but I think it's more likely there will be air space with subs. So, regarding consideration of load density, what have your observations been relevant to ...
