Re: Already have a trust...
I already have a trust which holds my non-NFA firearms...set it up so my younger bro would be successor of trust...should i use a DIFFERENT trust (set up a separate one) for NFA if i want my brother to be the successor of it as well, or can i use the same one? Just hit me earlier when someone on a ...

Re: Hornady Z Max Whisper Warning
i had a problem with 308 zmax exhitibiting pressure signs in my LR308 carbine. (cratering on the primers, heavy extractor marks on the rim) after posting on the net (another forum), i contacted hornady who immediately asked me for all the ammo to be returned for testing. they all tested in spec, and...

Re: No More Dirty 22lr Suppressors Ever Again!
when i first got my supressor the only subsonic ammo i had was CB short & CB Longs. Nothing that would cycle in a semiauto.... and it was in march following sandy hook. i choked on my pride and paid $50 for a brick of gemtech silencer subsonic so i had *something* to test with. at the time i was...

Re: unexpected cannelure
Clearly this is a 110 grain with a cannelure for four reasons: 1.You can tell by the shape. 2. Why wouldn't it be? They had a setback problem and this would be the fix. 3. They would not change the bullet for reloaders as reloaders hate cannelures. Sierra told me that they cannot sell their bullets...

Re: snow down south
the south has been a train wreck this winter. i feel bad for those down there who arent used to it. Being up here in the great lakes a little snow is meh. we're right in the middle of the cold spot though. with the windchill factored in its been downright dangerous outside when it gets especially na...

Re: LEO Signoff
ANd if you have kids - the savings alone on the Tax Stamp to pass your items down a generation can justify the cost of the trust in itself if you have more than a single item! money well spent! There is no cost to pass on NFA items, they transfer to heirs tax free on a Form 5. learn something new e...

Re: LEO Signoff
i paid a local attorney to draw up my trust. Since we're dealing with hard to acquire NFA items $400 to assure that my trust would stand up in a court of law was more than enough to convince me to not to go the DYI route for my trust. i looked at it the same way as investing in a quality safe. Its a...
