Re: So looking for advice for barrel length. 300 blk
What can the 300BLK out of a 10" barrel do? 100 yards would be easy, with practice 200 yards should be doable even if it isn't optimum. You might get another few hundred FPS out of another 6" of barrel. Is that enough to justify the longer gun? That's something you need to answer. Personal...

Re: AR lower parts and harmonics
If you mean barrel harmonics that would affect accuracy, I highly doubt it.

Re: Help! Does someone have a good way to clean a suppressor?
Just kicking the idea around, never did it. As long as it doesn't change the dimensions why wouldn't it work? Can you contact the mfgr and inquire? They might be able to give you the hardness of the baffles. If possible it would be the way to go I would think. If you try it please get back to us her...

Re: Texas hog hunt.
This does make me think of a question - please forgive my ignorance, I have only hunted (and eaten) deer in the past. Are the wild hogs you see in Texas and elsewhere OK to eat or should they not be eaten for some reason? Thanks! FartinSpartan Just be aware that the USDA now says that pork is OK to...

Re: Help! My head is spinning- load info needed
Is it 1st round pop that you're getting and want to eliminate? if so, some things to try... It only happens first round because the can is full of spent gas after that, or if enough time passes for the gas to leave the can it'll happen again. So fill the can with inert gas and get rid of the first r...

Re: Help! My head is spinning- load info needed
Until you prove the load you're testing remove the can and look for bullet stability on paper. Then put the can back on once you're happy that you won't ding a baffle. In general fast powders will be quieter than slow powders. They build pressure fast and the powder is used up quickly, that leads to...

Re: Help! Does someone have a good way to clean a suppressor?
Today was a decent weather day and I clearly got a bug to clean the suppressor. The short story, it worked great and did an excellent job. Now a bit more... The past few days I used I tried supermarket Bicarb in the blaster and it worked, but not as good as I hoped. So I trotted down to Harbor Freig...

Re: FN15 pistol w/ Dead Air Nomad-L sub problems
Since you're new to firearms you're pretty much limited in what you might be capable of. The 300BLK is a reloaders dream, but since you don't reload you're pretty much at the mercy of the factories. Not all subs will function in every firearm. From what I've been reading S&B subs are notorious f...

Re: Help! Does someone have a good way to clean a suppressor?
Update. Still waiting for weather so that I can work outside. 2 more cleaners I ran across is diluted Simple Green, and the other is a mildly abrasive method using a soda blaster. That would be sodium bicarb. I have this blaster on order. For $30 I couldn't not try it. With no blasting chamber it's ...
