Re: God Bless the folks in SE Texas
Also, it appears I posted out of date/incorrect information.... Originally church carry was prohibited in Texas, but now a church has to post a 30.06 sign if it doesn't want to allow carry.

Re: God Bless the folks in SE Texas
Some states wont even allow you to carry in church. I dont understand how this happened in Texas. See above. Texas is one of those states. I haven't confirmed this, but I read elsewhere that it may have ended up being an AR vs. AR gunfight. I have read alternately that the guy who killed the murder...

Even if you can't get the cast bullet to feed from the 527's magazine, you could always try a Bob Sled:

Re: Remington Model 7 extractor.
Well bought a Remington Model 7 with 300 Blackout barrel. The extraction issue is depressing me. Anybody had a aftermarket extractor put on their bolt, Sako-M16 style? Did it help? Who did it? Two rings of steel? Don't do it; the extractor conversions are bad news. The Remington bolt actions...

Re: Lever Action Rossi 92 .357/.38 Suppressed
Can you tell us who did the threading and magazine work? That's next on the list for mine. After that I may have it parkerized. Mine was done by a local gunsmith in Palmer, AK, but after he finished he said no more big bore lever guns. I even removed the barrel for him and reinstalled it when...

Re: Does this forum stifle innovation? Do we drive out the new guy?
I've got them in several rifles and helped a couple others install them... Don't think I have ever paid less than $80, but they are outstanding triggers. The Geissele G2S (that usually goes for about twice as much) in my AR is just about as good as the Power Custom AK trigger, which is actually why ...

Where are you finding the Power Custom trigger for $65?GunFunZS wrote:I also want to be able to say that there is nothing in a $300 geiselle trigger that isn't in a $65 power customs AK trigger, and that the latter generally is nicer, and has more precision machining in it too.

Re: Lever Action Rossi 92 .357/.38 Suppressed
It is a 16" Bbl, OD was .630, not enough of a shoulder left if doing 5/8-24 That's good to know. So, either the standard R92 contour is basically straight from around the 12" mark out to the muzzle, or what I read about the contours being the same other than length might have been in erro...
