Re: Sighting a scope in for subs and supers?
Don't have a scope on mine yet, but planning to buy a scope that is built specifically for the .300blk platform, whose ability to shoot both supers and subs creates some problems optics-wise (i.e., having two different zeros/drop tables). What I'll probably end up purchasing is something along the ...

Re: How quiet should a 300blk pistol be?
Can you finagle with the gas block to make it in effect a single shot? This should help in eliminating mechanical noise, then you could move to powder, bullets, etc. components. If you had access to a chronograph that could help. Do not be insulted if someone doesn't want to loan you one as they ten...

Re: 5” AR Pistol- Dramatic FPS Decrease w/ Suppressor
Maybe the short barrel (5 inch) has something to do with the 900 fps issue. Do not take it as gospel but from what I have learned a 9 inch barrel is the shortest to get optimal, "consistent" results in 300 BO. I have one suppressor that the manufacturer said never use it with a can less th...

Re: 300 BO subsonic through a .45 can?
It works fairly well but I disagree with the hearing safe comment. You still need to wear hearing protection. As a medical provider, my experience is if it causes ringing in your ear or ears, even a small amount, it will cause damage to your hearing over time. If you doubt what I say, ask an audiolo...

Score card for NC deer hunters
I have not been deer hunting for 12 years or more. Since we got settled in our new house I have thought about doing some evening hunting on our land. I have a lifetime Sporting hunting/fishing license for NC. Where do you get the reporting scorecard? How does it work?

Re: Poaching
I have been approached by game wardens only twice in my 54 years of hunting/fishing. The hunting one was while dove hunting. I figure they were out listening to what sounded like a war zone on opening day and drove toward the gunshots. Our group got checked. Funny encounter there, when I was 16 or s...

Re: Poaching
If a person watches reality tv you would assume Game Wardens catch a lot of folks. In your case I assume you reported these dead deer. Did LE come out and look or search for evidence, brass, truck tracks, boot tracks, etc? Did they call local meat packers to see if someone brought in meat without a ...

Re: Cannot find my 9mm or 8 Crimson Trace lasers
YAH-HOO, Found the gun and stuff in an old dresser drawer that use to be in our master bedroom. We set up a spare bedroom in our new house for Christmas and found it. I was about ready to report this gun as lost or stolen. My wife has an earlier identical model that confused things. Youngest kid aro...

I do the same thing. I suspect when the suppressor law was written, the erector set way of firearm construction was limited, i.e. no AR types.

Re: Supreme Court decision on lawsuit against Remingto
This is a replay of one of the news articles I saw. Seems the use of the term "supreme court" and "US Supreme Court" are quoted and used interchangeably by some news outlets, whether it is state or federal. The news article I originally saw was a selective quote of lines from the...
