VFGs are very handy for the footsoldier that has to walk more than shoot. When you walk day in and day out with heavy kit for more than 8-12 hours a day, the vfg makes a difference in carrying it. Yes it is the ACE. That one is on their for looks. For practicality, I like the old 4 position collapsables quite well for pdw style AR's.
