Re: How to change color
Well, this board wasn’t exactly overflowing with new content, but the color change seems to have driven away the few remaining posters. It’s absolutely horrible.

Re: Adding Holographic or red dot to 300 bo
They sell 45°mounts suitable for Burris Fast Fire and similar sized microdots. Best of both worlds. Scope for 99% of your shooting, and the dot ready to go if needed.
Edit: lots of options. Here’s just the first one I found.

Re: Lee 309-170F: Possible for 300BO?
I went with translucent gray Lancers for 300 BLK myself. Very visibly different than my solid black .223 mags and no stacking issues with any bullet at any length.

These are my results with the Lee 150, same profile, just a bit shorter. They fed, but they got scared up pretty good by the locking lugs. I never shot groups with them. http://imashooter2.com/pictures/300blk/lee1.jpg http://imashooter2.com/pictures/300blk/lee2.jpg http://imashooter2.com/pictures/30...

Re: Lee 321-155-2r
I shoot it conventionally lubed and checked sized to .310 in a 16 inch rifle. I set COAL at 2.020 inch and load it over 14.5 grains of IMR4227 (uncompressed). Velocity averages 1,733 fps. 10 shot groups at 50 yards average 1.7 inches (elbows rest, no bags). Rifle is clean, no leading, no fouling in ...

Re: Powder coat vs lube
Powder coat is slow and messy and requires a whole new set of containers and racks on top of your existing set of containers and racks. PC does shoot cleaner than lubed lead, but I clean my guns after shooting anyway. So step up and make your choice. I chose the ease and convenience of continuing to...
