Re: All around bullet?

How do you like that powder? Either not too many using it or at least not writing about it. I found it pretty easy to work with and very good too end velocities. Have you tried subs? So far I like 11FS well enough for supersonics , getting ok ES. Need to play with crimp and OAL a bit and see if I c...

Re: All around bullet?

The #2005 speer 130 gr hp varmint bullet is my favorite supersonic bullet by a large margin in the 300 blackout. I shoot a pistol with a 9” faxon 5R match barrel 1-8 twist. The bullet stays together and mushrooms perfectly at close range of 15 yards and at 109 yards in gallon water jugs. Strange yar...

Noslers shooters pro shop has several 30 cal bullets in stock

I just cleared out what they had left of the 220 grain ballistic tip. I know a lot of people use the 110 gr varmageddon fb tipped, they are 22.95 per 100, 1 dollar off a box if you buy 10, 2 off a box if you buy 20. https://www.shootersproshop.com/30-caliber-110gr-varmageddon-fb-tipped-100ct-blem.ht...

Re: Which non-U.S.-made powder for 300BLK?

... I on the other hand would take that chart with a big gain of salt, as other Burn rate charts show more realistic differences. Like this one: ... I take all burn rate charts with a huge grain of salt, they are only good for very general position unless you know for a fact you have the exact lot ...

Re: Which non-U.S.-made powder for 300BLK?

Most comprehensive list of powder burn rates I've ever seen is here: www.theballisticassistant.com from the website: The Powder Burn Rate Chart is a Reference Tool for the Approximate Burn Rates of Canister and OEM Powders. This is the most comprehensive Burn Rate Chart on the web and includes powde...

Re: accurate 11fs

Anyone recognize this fubar? https://i.imgur.com/F7A9Yoy.png I had intended on spending a good bit of time Saturday working with 3 different bullets and accurate 11FS. I suspected a couple weeks ago that where I was with the 155 hornady eld-m had a somewhat significant first round and subsequent rou...

Re: accurate 11fs

Midway has the speer 130's in stock as factory overrun in 500 bulk pack, .22 cents a piece and they currently have free shipping. I just ordered some and don't mind burning through what I already have tweaking my load hoping to get just over 2000 fps and get good accuracy. I'll be doing more this we...

accurate 11fs

I’m shooting a 9” blackout pistol(need to file a form 1 on it, pistol sucks in an AR IMO) with a faxon 5r gunner profile match barrel and always put my Griffin ultralight sportsman suppressor on it. Just before the current shortage of everything I picked up a box of 100 Speer 130gr HP varmint bullet...
