NOE 225gr grooveless sub great function and accuracy
Sup y'all, ShippWrekk here. I'm a new reloader, I've been working diligently at growing my knowledge during the past year and have finally achieved great results in this cast boolit. I'm shooting through a mid-length 16" PSA AR, nickel boron BCG, H-1 buffer. 10.9gr of CFE BLK, @ 2.090" OAL...

Help with load data for cast 210gr RN
So I bought a Lyman double-caviity mold for a 210 grain round nose, gas-checked bullet. I hope to achieve a velocity of around 1050 fps. I'm using Hodgdon CFE BLK powder. I recently loaded a Nosler 210 grain HPBT with 11.8gr at an OAL of 2.250" and go excellent results. Is this a good starting ...

Re: Help with reloading a 210 grain bullet
Dellet, I went to the range today with 20 rounds of the 210 Nosler's. Everything went very smooth, the only minor issue was the magazine. The Magpul polymer mag did not provide enough clearance, the mag spring wouldn't push them up they were such a tight fit. After switching to an aluminum mag, I cy...

Re: Help with reloading a 210 grain bullet
So my inside-depth is exactly where I want it, I removed the bcg and placed a round in the chamber then turned it straight up and the round fell back out no problem. I reinstalled the bcg and loaded up a round, and noticed a tad bit of scuffing on the end of the bullet. Is this "hitting the rif...

Re: Loading 210 grain subs.. new guy problems
Umm...have ya bothered to even do a search? Maybe for Nosler load data? Or is that too hard? Maybe you could plunk the rounds in your barrel? Maybe run them through your magazine? Dude, yes I damn sure did and found nothing. Like I said in the original post, the manual showed up after I purchased t...

I stand corrected, they are HPBT.golfindia wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 12:16 pm I didn't even know Nosler made a 210g RN. Accubond and RDF match are 210, but not RN.

Re: Help with reloading a 210 grain bullet
How did you determine the bullets are too long? When I went to load my magazine, I noticed a huge difference in length, it would just barely fit. Didn't seem right, and I'm very nervous with all this. I am not trying to cut any corners, and I'm trying to do this exactly how it should... But I've ma...

Re: Help with reloading a 210 grain bullet
My Lyman reloading manual says to use 11.5 grains on the 208 Hornady A-max, I was told to apply that load data.

Help with reloading a 210 grain bullet
So, I ordered 300ct Nosler 210 grain RNBT .308 bullets. My Lyman manual arrived a day or two later, which is when I discovered there isn't any load data for 300 BLK and this particular bullet. I received advice to apply the Hornady 208 grain A-max data, which calls for 11.5 grains of powder. I am us...
