Re: Daniel Defense DDM4PDW 7 in. Zero range?
Hi. It would be useful to know your use case for context. For example, for hunting and defense based on my local terrain, I went with a 50 yard zero and worked out where I would be at 25 and 75 yards.

RUAG Swiss 300BLK
I received an add for this in my email last week. Looks interesting, especially with them using a 17.7" barrel. https://www.ammoshoponline.com/shop/caliber/rifle/300-blackout/300-blackout-130-gr-hyper-expanding-hollow-point-styx-made-in-switzerland-swiss-p-extreme-precision-qty-20-free-shipping...

BA, BCM or DD Upper (does it matter)?
Gents and Ladies, I'm considering this 10.3" BA (shorturl.at/sC234), a BCM 12.5" (when they get back in stock) or a Daniel Defense 10.3" for a homestead/hunting (deer and pigs) pistol topped with a Trijicon MRO I have on-hand. The BA and BCM are 1:7" twist and the DD is 1:8"...

Re: Gas port issues?
Much appreciated. At the end of the day my biggest concern is not beating up the rifle. Is Superlative's block the adjustable of choice, then?

Re: Gas port issues?
Dellet, Thanks. The question was essentially, "How much is too much?", considering the very little I know about how the variables you stated are at play. I'm inferring that an adjustable block, heavier buffer and low back pressure suppressor will slow the action and reduce wear. Both those...

Gas port issues?
Apologies for the potentially misleading title of this post. For those more experienced, what gas port size(s) do you recommend for a 7" upper? I'm looking at the DDM4 PDW and the BCM 7" upper shooting Barnes 110gr TTSX, Speer 150gr GDSP, 150 gr FMJ and Hornady 190gr SubX. I plan to purcha...

Gorilla Barnes Bonded Soft Point
Greetings, Does anyone have experience with this loading (https://www.gorillaammo.com/product/gorilla-300-aac-blackout-150gr-barnes-pointed-soft-point-160-round-bucket/?avad=74383_d2014a3c1)? I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the Hunting or Main Discussion areas, although I may have missed it. A...

Re: IWI X95 300BLK
Gents,
Thanks for the info and advice. I was leaning toward the AR after I saw the X95 setup.
