Re: Powder Coating
I watched your video like I should have before... But anyway do you know anyone that has used any of their other powders? I went to the Columbia Coatings site and there are at least 6 colors I find interesting. I'd hate to drop a C note only to get one powder that works for the S&B method. Tony

Re: Handi extended scope mounting
I bought a couple extra hammers from Gun Parts with the idea of drilling a hole and tapping in a steel pin to make it easier to pull the hammer back with a scope. I also planned to try and skeletonize one a bit to try and improve lock time. I got to where I found that I needed to anneal it before I ...

Re: Light Weight subsonic Single Shot Loads
A friend of mine powder coated some of my bullets from mt Lee 311-93-1R mold for the .32 revolver then shot them over a chronograph. 3gr of of Red Dot produced around 1050fps, 2.5gr produced around 900fps 2.0gr produced 760fps I had been loading them with 2.0g of Red Dot but after this I'm going to ...

Re: Buying dies, am i making good choices?
Everything Forster makes it top notch and usually out of my budget... Anyway I started with Hornady dies for the 300 Blackout and I hated everything about them and to make it even worst they leave out the vent hole for the shoulder that both RCBS and Lee have. I wouldn't ever have any other Hornady ...

Re: Light Weight subsonic Single Shot Loads
I bought a Lee mold for the .32 Colt. They're supposed to be 93g and .311 but with the alloy I'm using, they come out 87g and .310". So far I've only loaded them over 2.5g or Red Dot and a Win small pistol primer. They shoot good but I'm clueless about how fast they're going... Anyway I think t...

Re: blem bullets at midway
I ordered 200 160g flex tip bullets from them today. I don't think the blackout will push them fast enough to expand but I think they'll be OK in my other .30 cal rifles... They have some 150g .308 soft points for 17 cents a pop. That's a pretty good deal but I wasn't looking for those right now... ...
