Re: Semi Auto carrier for 7.5" Barrel?

Well, so far with the 7.5" barrel, it runs great with 125gr FMJ's, and about 18gr of Lil Gun. When the suppressor shows up, I'll see how well the 190gr sub-X rounds work, because they do not cycle the bolt with only about 9-10gr of Lil Gun for a Sub round. Hopefully the suppressor will provide ...

I do like the design. Appears to have a noticeably wide hollow point. However, they are different in that they d...

Re: All around bullet?

110gr V-Max was actually my first choice. However, it's unobtanium right now. They are also a bit more pricey for plinking. I try to keep my plinking rounds under $25/100ct if possible. I did order up 500rds of Speer 130gr HP's. (not the varmint bullets). Also the 130gr HP's are less than $20/100ct....

All around bullet?

I am currently experimenting with a few different bullets. I loaded up some 190gr Hornady Sub-x with about 9.2gr Lil Gun for my suppressor as a home defense cartridge, but without the suppressor, it won't cycle properly. I usually used Hornady 125gr FMJ-BT for plinking, as it doesnt' seem like it wo...

Re: Go-To 300 Blackout Dies

I also have used Lee dies with the factory crimp. I converted about 1,500 LC casings, all sized and loaded with the Lee dies. I did notice that the base and neck may cause the casing to be slightly set back when checking with a Lyman case gauge. However, I have had Zero issues with cambering and ext...

Re: what case trimmers do you use

I have a Lyman Universal, but for bulk loading with lower than max charges, I find using the Lee case Trimmer in my drill press on slow rpm, can trim the length of hundreds of cases in less than an hour.

Semi Auto carrier for 7.5" Barrel?

Just curious what your thoughts are on this. Almost done building my AR pistol. I have a 7.5" barrel, and can't help but think a semi-auto BCG (vs a full auto) might be better for a 7.5" barrel, due to being a little lighter. Thoughts?

Neck Reamer?

I have a boat load of 223 brass. Mostly PPU, some Hornady, and even some 556 LC. I've noticed with most of the 223 brass (especially the foreign stuff), the conversion into 300aac yields a neck that would put Brock Lesnar to shame. I can't get the cartridges to slide into my Lyman case gauge all the...

Re: New guy here

Ok, you asked for it!!! Let's see if this works. Caspian Hi-Cap 1911 6" Long Slide in 10mm. The mag in the pic, is the first mag I modified to fit. So, it has some of the coating stripped off. I have since modified/stripped, and Cerakoted (Tungsten mag with Black base extension) 5 hi-cap magazi...
