Re: 300 HAM'r
I built a SCR rifle which is AR based but was 50 state legal as of a few years ago. Anyhow, I made it a 350 Legend and its been a problem since the get go. I have a bolt and thats a dandy. Accurate reliable and fills a nitch. This is going to be replaced. The HAM'r is a good proposition as uts a bar...

Thinking of s new bullet...
I found these last night... ACCURATE PREFERRED as I can change dims to suite. But NOE cheaper... NOE has fixed .299 nose and 4 cav is under 100$ with rebate. Accurate for almost same 4 cav is 150$ but I can adjust dia of body and nose to better .297 for PC .0015/.002 (per side) NOE: has the HTC310-2...

Re: Powder Coating
Yes, heating is a main ingredient.
I outline it in my videos.
Heat to lil over 100°. I use top of oven that is warming.

Re: Optics
I STILL have not completely decided upon a optic for this rifle. Believe it or not, Its had three different scopes since making the post here. One was bought for the gun. The other two was swaped from other guns when THEY got "new" scopes. Right now it wears a Weaver 3-12 30mm illuminated....

Re: Max charge Lilgun and 110 Nosler
I have used it and sworn off it. It burns too hot and is prone to pressure spiking. All to get about 50 fps more. H110/296 is my go to for 110/125 and reciently mp300 with the new 135 ftx and 150GD bullets.

Re: Lee 321-155-2r
Powder coat is not a replacement for a gas check. With a plain base bullet you CAN shoot them to faster velocities but no more pressure. Pressure is of great effect to a lead bullet and harder alloys are superior to soft when pressures raise. Very light/low pressure stuff shot OK. I have tried shoot...

Re: gn vs gr
I agree. g is what I have seen for grams. Thankfully, most don't use grams so its less confusing.
Gr or gr is always used as abbreviation for Grains behind bullets and powder in reloading circles.

Re: SBR 300-MP Loads First Time
Watched your video. (Subbed). I was surprised at the velocities that you achieved!! Very impressive! I am impressed with the few loads I have tried with the powder as well. I quickly found a good load with the then new 135g FTX bullet to almost 2250 fps. As fast as my top 296/125g load and every bit...

Re: Powder Coating
Those were acquired at bed Bath and beyond. You can get them online and I believe they're called powder coated mesh wire drawer organizers. There's a couple different sizes, just get one that fits in your oven. Yeah there's a lot of colors out there, but not all of them work for the shake and bake m...
